*Please bring your ID with you to your appointment*
Any of the following are acceptable:
- UK driving/provisional license - Passport - Government-issued passcard
*If you haven’t already done so, please check my age restrictions before booking.
*Legal government issued ID is required for proof of identification at the time of your appointment regardless of your age. I cannot pierce you without IDs.
*For clients aged 17 and under, they will also need ID as well as parental consent for certain piercings outlined in the ‘Age Policy’. If you do not have any of the IDs stated above, a birth certificate will suffice. ONE parent or legal guardian must attend the appointment with them, and the parent/legal guardian must also provide their ID/correct legal documentation to prove they are as such. No other adult can sign on behalf of the child.
*Failure to provide ID will result in the cancellation of your appointment & loss of your deposit.
*If you bring more than one person with you to your appointment they could be asked to wait outside the studio if we have a full house.
*I cannot pierce you if you are pregnant, breastfeeding or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
*Before I pierce you, I will check your anatomy thoroughly first. If I have to decline your piercing due to the anatomy not being quite right for that particular piercing, I’ll do my best to suggest another piercing that will work much better for you! Unfortunately, not everyone is suited to every piercing.
*I reserve the right to refuse service based on a client failing to provide ID.
*I reserve the right to refuse service based on any inappropriate or anti-social behaviour being displayed towards myself or any other staff members. I have a strict zero-tolerance policy for any kind of verbal or physical abuse towards myself, staff or any other visiting clients. I also have a zero-tolerance policy for any kind of racism, transphobia, homophobia or sexism. You will be asked to leave the studio and not return.
*I reserve the right to refuse service if you have not eaten a substantial meal at least an hour prior to your piercing appointment. I insist you do not get pierced on an empty stomach, your blood sugars will be too low which increases the risk of you passing out and/or vomiting.
*Please try to cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 24 hours' notice. If you fail to show up you will lose your deposit.
*Booking fees are NOT refundable unless the appointment is cancelled by the studio.
*Your booking deposit will be retained and service refused if:
*Jewellery from outside the studio CANNOT be used on initial or healing piercings. This is to ensure your piercing's health and safety. *Quite often we are asked if we can pierce with a ring, usually very small and thin. Unfortunately in most, if not all cases, it is not possible to fit rings this way in an initial or healing piercing. For a piercing to heal correctly, it requires suitable jewellery of size and shape, which can provide stability. (Petite rings can usually be fitted once successfully healed). Piercings that can be done with rings initially, for example, a “Daith” jewellery will most likely need to be quite large in gauge and diameter in order for it to be anatomically suitable enough to heal well. *We do not accept responsibility for loss of jewellery or attachments, jewellery coming out or piercings healing over. Once leaving the studio, it is the piercee's responsibility to ensure jewellery attachments are secure each day and that they do not remove their jewellery whilst the piercing is still healing as part of their commitment to following proper aftercare advice and protocols. *Jewellery losses or any accidental/deliberate damage are not covered by manufacturers' guarantees.*For health and safety, all Jewellery purchased in the studio is strictly non-refundable and non-exchangeable.
AGE POLICY:*Persons aged 14 and 15 will require a parent or legal guardian to accompany them to the appointment to provide legal consent for the following piercings: any ear, nose, lip or navel piercing.
*Persons aged 16-18 will require a parent or legal guardian to accompany them to the appointment to provide legal consent for the following piercings: Bridge, Tongue, Eyebrow or surface piercing excluding navel.
*Nipple piercings and Dahlias (cheek piercing) are only available to those aged 18 and over. Government issue I.D will be required.
*If you have any medical conditions or are on any medication this must be declared at the time of the booking to allow us to make necessary preparations.
